ÅLAND UNITEDS POLICY AGAINST DRUGS

General:

Åland United conducts elite sports activities in football whose activities must set an example

for the general public and for children and young people in particular. The association

operates a drug-free sports environment. The associations leaders and active members

undertake to have an exemplary approach to drugs so that the association or its partners are

not violated in any way.

Societys laws and regulations for alcohol, tobacco and narcotics must be followed.

 

Narcotics and doping preparations:

All use of narcotics and doping preparations is prohibited.

 

Alcohol:

During the training and competition season alcohol is used in such quantities and under such

conditions that for people who observe the player or leader - in every way it is perceived

that they are not visibly affected and that they also appear to be an example of how alcohol

consumption should be handled.

It is not permitted to train or play a match under the influence of alcohol.

 

It is not permitted to distribute/supply alcohol to underage (< 18 years) teammates within

the association.

Tobacco:

It is not permitted to smoke in connection with training or matches.

 

Sanctions:

If a player or staff violates the above rules, Åland United has the right to suspend the person

from the association's activities and charge the person for the expenses incurred by the

association in connection with training and games both on and outside Åland.

The drug policy is revised when necessary.

Responsibility for upholding these rules lies with both the leaders and the board.

 

The policy was approved by the Åland United board 3.1.2024.
