Åland United faces TPS in Turku

Tomorrow it’s time for Åland United to enter the Finnish Cup. The first opponent is TPS, and the match will be played away in Turku.

“We’re looking forward to starting our cup journey in Turku against TPS. It’s a different kind of competition compared to the league, where it’s all about win or go home. The days leading up to the match have been focused heavily on recovery after a tough away game up in Kuopio, but the feeling is that the girls are rested and ready for the challenge. For us, the key will be to raise the tempo of the game and be more clinical in front of goal than we were last time. Obviously, our goal is to advance, and we need to show that from the very first minute against TPS,” says head coach Daniel Norrmén.
