Åland United announces new attacking player

The quick winger Neelia Pitko, born in 2006, joins Åland United from JyPK. Pitko has signed a two-year contract and will be an exciting offensive addition ahead of the upcoming season. She is also part of Finland’s youth national team for the 2006 age group.

Sport Director Pierre Persson is pleased with the signing of another young and promising player:

“Neelia is truly an exciting offensive player with a bright future ahead of her, and we are convinced that she will continue to develop well here on Åland. She has great speed combined with solid technique and will be a real threat to our opponents in the league. Neelia is a strong new signing who will raise the quality and competition within the squad for next year,” says Pierre.

Neelia herself is looking forward to joining Åland United:
