Åland United has signed a contract with American Abigail "Abby" Ostrem over the 2024 season. 24-year-old Abby most recently came from a professional session in Serbian Spartak Subotica. Spartak Subotica beat KuPS in the 2023 Champions League qualifiers, so Finnish football is no stranger to Abby, who came to Åland yesterday.
