Othilia Nordberg extends her contract with Åland United

Åland United is pleased to announce that Othilia Nordberg has extended her contract with the club. The 18-year-old Åland-born forward has signed a new two-year deal. Over the past seasons, Othilia has taken significant steps in her development and become an important part of the team’s future.

“It’s especially great when we can offer new contracts to our local Åland talents. Othilia has worked hard and shown strong development throughout the year, and she truly deserves a new deal. We are convinced that Othilia’s progress will continue next season, and that she will be fully competing for a place in the starting eleven,” says Sporting Director Pierre.

“I’m happy and proud to extend my contract with Åland United. I feel that I’ve developed a lot over the past year and I’m looking forward to taking further steps in the upcoming season. Heja Åland!” says Othilia.

The contract extension with Othilia Nordberg highlights Åland United’s commitment to investing in local talent and building on a strong core for the future. Othilia, who started her football journey with IFK Mariehamn, is a great example of the player development taking place here on Åland.
