Linda Jansson Steps Down as Executive Director of Åland United

After nearly two years as Executive Director, Linda Jansson has decided to step down from her role at Åland United. She will continue to work operationally until June 15 to ensure a smooth transition.
"Leading Åland United has been an incredibly honorable and rewarding assignment in my professional life. I am grateful for the trust placed in me, the collaboration with all the fantastic players and coaches, the people in and around the club, our partners, the National League – and not least the commitment the people of Åland show for the club," says Linda Jansson.
During her leadership, the club has continued to focus on long-term development, equality, and strong community engagement – values that are central to Åland United’s identity.
"With Linda at the helm, the day-to-day operations have been in good hands, and her commitment and contributions have been a strong driving force in the club’s development. We wish Linda all the best in her future endeavors and are happy to have her remain involved as a volunteer," says Katarina Donning, Chair of Åland United.
The recruitment process for a new Executive Director will begin immediately. In the meantime, daily operations will continue as planned.
