Estonian international Katrin Kirpu has decided to extend her contract with Åland United until the 2025 season.
‘I'm very happy to extend my contract with Åland United for the 2025 season. I have enjoyed my time in Åland and I feel that this is the right place to continue to develop as a player and take further steps towards my goals. In the next season I will continue to strive towards my personal goals and I look forward to being part of a successful Åland United’. says Katrin Kirpu who turns 20 in October
‘The club is very happy that Katrin Kirpu will stay beyond the 2025 season. Katrin is a versatile player who this year has played as a full-back, striker and in her more natural outfield role. This year she has scored two goals in the league and created lots of chances for the team. She has a fantastic work ethic which has a positive impact on the team. Although she has started on the bench in many games this year, her substitutions have created big problems for the opposition. Her development curve has risen steeply this year and we expect a continued exciting development curve and that she will make a big impression on the team and in the National League next year’. says acting head coach Ian Brooks
