Jessica Wade Called Up to the National Team

Åland United midfielder Jessica Wade has been called up to the South African women’s national team. The selection comes in connection with the national team camp and preparations for WAFCON (Women’s Africa Cup of Nations).
The team will gather on February 24 to begin preparations for WAFCON, which will take place between March 17 and April 3.
South Africa will play the following matches in the group stage:
South Africa vs Tanzania (March 17)
South Africa vs Côte d’Ivoire (March 20)
Burkina Faso vs South Africa (March 23)
“I’m delighted and honored to receive a call-up to the national team. It’s vital that we qualify for the World Cup and I’m so happy to be part of the squad tasked with this challenge.” says Jessica Wade.
For Jessica, the call-up represents an important step in her international career and a clear recognition of her hard work and performances at club level.
