Inför matchen mot JyPK

After an intense cup match earlier this week, it's time for Åland United to return to the Nationella Ligan. On Saturday at 17:00, we welcome JyPK to our home ground in Wiklöf Holding Arena – the third game of the week and another challenge for the team.

Head coach Daniel Norrmén shared his thoughts ahead of the match:

“Now it’s time for our third match of the week as we return to league play against JyPK, and it will of course be a challenge for the players. But we’ve prepared well, focusing on recovery over the past few days, and with the work ethic this team has, I expect another strong performance.”

Despite a tough season in terms of points, JyPK has quality in the squad that should not be underestimated, Daniel warns:

“JyPK has had a difficult season results-wise, but there is quality in the team that can threaten any opponent in this league. The most important thing for us will be to play to our strengths while also making use of the weaknesses we see in JyPK.”
