Cilia Nyvall selected for regional camp

Åland United is pleased to announce that Cilia Nyvall has been selected for a regional camp for players born in 2010, which will take place on March 4, 2026, in Vantaa.

The camp is organized by the Football Association of Finland and brings together selected players from the southern region. The aim is to develop promising talents, introduce them to the national team environment and playing philosophy, and identify potential future national team players.

The selection is a well-deserved recognition of Cilia’s development and her recent performances. The day will include training sessions, meetings, and matches – a valuable experience in a stimulating and competitive environment.

"Cilia has made three substitute appearances in matches against teams from the Swedish Damallsvenskan and has performed well. Together with our training sessions, this gives her valuable experience and continuous development. It is great to see her receiving continued recognition from the Football Association of Finland and the opportunity to gain experience from national team camps," says Sporting Director Pierre Persson.

For Cilia, the selection represents a new opportunity to grow:

“I’m looking forward to going to camp again and challenging myself by training and playing against high-level players of my own age.”
