Assembling the team took a little longer than expected, but the players have done a very good job throughout the pre-season, so we can be really happy with that. In terms of playing, we have been taking steps forward all the time and I believe that we are ready for the series opener, although there are still areas to improve.
We get almost the toughest test at once when the Finnish champions of the last three years, KuPS, come to visit us.
In Kups, there have also been some changes during the winter, both in coaching staff and the players. Despite that, Kups will start the season with a really strong team and almost anything other than renewing the championship is a big disappointment for them.
We look forward to taking on this tough test and seeing where we stand.
In the last trainings, we have got the whole team together after a long time and there has been a really good mood in the trainings and everyone is looking forward to the first game and the start of the season!
