The previous games have been discussed and summarized. Based on the summary, this week has been focused on both attack and defense from the point of view of the game on the biggest lifts that need to be polished. In the big picture, we have to be more precise in the operation of the lines in the defensive game so that the opponent cannot too easily break our lines and thus our backline. In the attacking game, we have to be sharper and more efficient in the last third. We have focused on these all week and practiced in different ways, and now we can see how the practiced things are transferred to the game.
I'm really satisfied with how the week has gone and all the players have continued their good work and it's good to go into the game.
HPS will be a different opposition than Ilves and will certainly press more and will want to control the ball more on their home field. HPS has been good in its first games of the season, as well as the entire preseason.
The match will certainly be tight and neither team will get points easily. Hopefully, Åland supporters will find it to the stands as well as front of Ruutu or in Adlon pizzeria & sportbar.
