After the Cup final, another important league task awaits. Åland United host VIFK at Wiklöf Holding Arena, where the team is determined to recharge, claim three points, and stay in the medal race.

Head coach Daniel Norrmén shares his thoughts ahead of the game

"After Sunday’s Cup final, the full focus is now on the league and our fight for the medals, starting with VIFK at home at WHA. It’s very important that we put the Cup loss behind us and find the energy to perform during this busy period with many matches. VIFK are coming from a tough spell, but most recently they only lost by a single goal against a strong KuPS. So we are prepared for a tough challenge, but our goal is clear: to do everything we can to take three points and keep the pressure on the other teams in the medal race. It’s great to be back at home, and I hope the girls get strong support from the stands."
