Before the game against PK-35 Vantaa

ree

After two tough games without points, Åland United are ready to take on the next challenge. Today, September 14, the team face PK-35 Vantaa away – a side that has shown strong form in recent rounds.

Head coach Daniel Norrmén emphasizes that the squad is both well-prepared and determined to get back on the winning track:

– PK-35 Vantaa have played well recently and we expect a tough game in Vantaa. But after a good training week where we have worked hard on the things that didn’t function as we wanted in the last matches, we are ready. We will enter the game with confidence and with a strong desire to bounce back after two losses.

Despite recent results, there are plenty of positives to build on. The team has consistently created good scoring chances, which provides a solid foundation for success.

– For quite a long time now we have been creating plenty of chances, which is a good base for winning football games. If we also perform well defensively against PK, we have every opportunity to return home to Åland satisfied, says Norrmén.

Now 90 minutes await in Vantaa, and Åland United head there with a clear goal – to show strength, collect points, and give themselves a fresh start in the pursuit of the top spots in the table.
