After two straight away wins, Åland United are finally back at Wiklöf Holding Arena – and they’re immediately facing a tough challenge. On Sunday, top side KuPS comes to town, a team Åland United are currently chasing in the league standings.

“We're heading into an intense week with two league matches and a cup quarter-final on the schedule. First up is KuPS at home – a great challenge against a strong side that we’re currently trying to catch in the table,” says head coach Daniel Norrmén.

The team has shown great form throughout July and enters Sunday’s game on the back of two solid wins on the road.

“We’re coming off two consecutive away victories after very solid performances and can go into this match with a lot of confidence. It also feels really good to finally play at home again, after having eight of our last ten games away. Hopefully we can deliver a really good match for our fans,” Daniel continues.

The match against KuPS kicks off at 17:00, and right after the final whistle the EURO 2025 final will be shown live in the Arena Café – a full evening of football, food, drinks and great atmosphere awaits!
