The season is drawing to a close, and while the top two places are already decided, the battle for third place – and the bronze medal – is still wide open. Åland United currently hold a narrow two-point lead over HPS, making Tuesday’s clash at Wiklöf Holding Arena a truly decisive one.
Head coach Daniel Norrmén is looking forward to the occasion:
“Now we take on HPS in a highly interesting match in the medal race, and we’re really looking forward to it — these are the kinds of games that are incredibly fun to play at the end of the season. After a strong performance last time against HJK, we can approach this challenge with good confidence. We know it will be a tough task against an HPS side that also come from a good performance, but it’s all about delivering a strong display and playing to our strengths to achieve the victory we are, of course, aiming for.”
Kick-off is set for Tuesday, October 7 at 18:30 at Wiklöf Holding Arena.
