Anna Westerlund continues in Åland United's coaching staff in 2026

After her first season as part of Åland United’s coaching staff, it is now confirmed that Anna Westerlund will continue in the role for 2026. The former national team captain has played an important part in the team’s development, both on and off the pitch.

Sport Director Pierre Persson is pleased that Anna will continue as part of the coaching staff:

“Signing Anna was an important piece of the puzzle, and being able to extend her time and presence with the team feels very good. Anna has great experience from elite football and sets high standards — an important quality that drives development both for the team and for individual players.”

Anna Westerlund herself is looking forward to building on what the team has started:
