Ahead of the Season Finale – Away Game Against HPS

The season is coming to an end, and on Saturday it’s time for the final match of the year as Åland United travel to Helsinki to face HPS. After a fine victory at home at Wiklöf Holding Arena last week, a revenge-seeking opponent now awaits at Briotech Arena.

Head Coach Daniel Norrmén sums up the feeling ahead of the match:

“Now it’s time for the last match of the season, and even though we secured our medal already in the previous round, we of course want to finish the year in a good way.The away game against HPS will be a tough challenge since they’re strong at home and are probably looking for revenge after we recently beat them with a solid performance at WHA. But we’ve had a good week of training and the girls are ready to do the job. As the result won’t affect the standings, it’s all about finding that inner fire one more time and delivering a performance we can be proud of.”

The match kicks off at 14:00, and Åland United hope to finish the season with a strong performance and three more points to take home.
