Aada Törrönen returns to Åland United

Åland United are delighted to announce that Aada Törrönen is returning to the club. The 26-year-old forward has signed a two-year contract and will join the team after the Christmas break. Aada previously played for Åland United between 2022 and 2024 and now makes her return to the club. During the 2024 season, she also finished as joint top scorer together with Anni Hakasalo.

"Aada has been here before and performed at a high level for Åland United. She's returning with a strong desire to bounce back after a challenging period in France and later at KuPS. We know she's a sharp goalscorer, and with the hunger she's shown in our discussions—her drive to keep developing and performing for Åland United—I'm convinced Aada is heading towards a strong season," says Sports Director Pierre Persson.

Aada Törrönen is excited to wear the ÅU shirt again:

By bringing in Aada Törrönen, Åland United strengthen their attacking options and take another clear step towards the future. The club continues to work actively to build a competitive squad for the coming seasons.
