After a weak second half in the last match, Åland United is looking for redemption in today’s clash with PK-35 Helsinki. Head coach Daniel Norrmén is looking forward to a new opportunity to show what the team is truly capable of:
We weren’t happy with the result or our performance in the second half of our last game. But the great thing about football is that there’s always a new match coming up. Now it’s all about performing at a high level for the majority of the game. Against PK-35 Helsinki, we have the chance to prove that we can do just that. I expect a positive reaction from the girls after last weekend’s poor second half, and now we’re just looking forward to playing again.
Åland United currently sits in fourth place in the table with five points. A win today would help the team put pressure on the top sides and get back to a solid and consistent performance over the full 90 minutes.
Today’s opponent, PK-35 Helsinki, is at the bottom of the table with -1 point after a deduction and is still looking for their first win of the season.
Kick-off is at 17:00 at Wiklöf Holding Arena. See you in the stands! Heja Åland 💙💛❤️
