Åland United extends Lilja Niiranen’s contract!

Åland United is pleased to announce that Lilja Niiranen has signed a new two-year contract with the club. The young goalkeeper, who over the past two seasons has grown into an important part of the team, will continue her journey on Åland.

“We are happy to have extended Lilja’s contract and look forward to two more years together.Lilja has shown great development during 2025, and we are confident that she will continue to grow and reach her potential as a goalkeeper.We’re really looking forward to continuing to work together in the coming seasons,” says Sporting Director Pierre Persson.
