Åland United announce the signing of Adela Råtts

Åland United are delighted to announce that the club has signed Adela Råtts, who joins from VIFK. The 19-year-old defender, who is the twin sister of Tilda Råtts, is known for her outstanding speed and versatility, being able to play both as a centre-back and a full-back. Adela’s contract runs for two years, through the 2027 season.

Sporting Director Pierre Persson is very pleased with the signing and looks forward to welcoming Adela to the team:

“We are pleased to already be able to announce our first new signing — Adela Råtts from Vasa IFK. This signing is fully in line with our new recruitment strategy. During the season, Adela has gained valuable experience in the Nationell League with Vasa IFK, and we are confident that she has great potential for further development. Adela has also represented Finland at U18 and U19 levels and is knocking on the door of the U23 national team. Adela will bring an important quality to the team with her speed and versatility, being able to play both as a central defender and a full-back. We are very excited to follow her development in our environment.”

Adela herself is excited to take the next step in her career and to continue her development in a new environment:
